LK Guide thread
So I figure I should make a guide for LK's, seein how it's my main and I'm rather confident on how I handle it. First of all, the skills tree:
http://brokendisc.web.fc2.com/elsword/skillsimulator/English/elsword/sk.html?50.0.100.0.5.1.1.5.5.5.0.5.0.5.0.3.0.0.0.5.5.5.0.0.2.5.5.5.5.5.0.5.3.5.5.5
Notes:
- You could skip Double Slash, if you see the need, but it tends to be a good Bossing skills.
This is a hybrid build. Meaning it's divided between PvP/PvE priorities. If you don't plan to PvP at all, I'd suggest:
- Don't get Kick at all. Instead, invest in Unlimited Blade* (I'l get back onto this in a bit)
- You can choose to get Windmill and skip Sonic Blade, since it's use is mainly for PvP, even if it's quite handy in dungeons
* If you don't plan in getting Slot B, drop Unlimited Blade and the buffs, and invest in Triple Geyser
Next off, combos.
You have your familiar ZZZ>>^Z, once you advance to Sword Knight, it's a good idea to change that into ZZZ>>^XX, since it provides a higher damage.
For PvP, it's a bad idea to use >>ZZZ for catching. WAY too predictable.
Once you're at Lord Knight, you get the fabled glitched XXX loop, which consists of holding down a skill button after the third X (Can be a bit tricky). This should replace your any combo in PvP, granted that you learn how to use it, and the situation lets you to. Or you could go the lazy way, and just spam ZZZ>Z, effective, but sort of plain.
Lastly, priority in skills.
Dungeons (No B Slot)
Armor Break, Assault Slash, Sandstorm and Armageddon Blade.
Dungeons (B slot)
Armor Break, Assault Slash, Sandstorm, Rolling Smash, Armageddon Blade, Stoic*, Double Slash and Sonic Blade(Or Windmill).
*This is purely preference and optional. But I find it pretty handy when at bosses, or tough situations.
This guide will be further elaborated on as questions arise

Re: LK Guide thread
Since you say its a hybrid build and state that if you don't plan on PvPing then not to get kick. What skills would you say to skip in case you wanted it to be pure PvP?

Re: LK Guide thread
In a pure PvP build you want to avoid these:
- Windmill
It's damage is mediocre at best, and its only use is mobbing. Plus, you can still be hit mid-skill
- Assault Slash/Fatal Fury*
This depends. IF you're a petry user, Assault Slash is your best friends. Otherwise, drop it.
- Unlimited Blade
You avoid this. Period
- Spiral Blast
Mobbing use. Outdone by Sandstorm anyway
- Double Slash
Mainly bossing skill, and if you have 300 mp you'll just rather use Arma
- Buffs
Depends. With current cap, you can't get them, but when they up it, and you have slot b, I suggest either defense or physical one. It's handy in PvP.

Re: LK Guide thread
I have a question as I never play melee-type like Raven nor Elboy.
Do LK have to use potion other than Blessed potion or intermidiate mp potion for grinding in your level range? For example, grinding at CA1 VH at lv 47-50

Whew. I've been meaning to delete my LK, which was the first character I have created, and create a new one. I'm definitely gonna use your guide now >.>

Re: LK Guide thread
I have a question about kick. What does each level really do? The site makes it appear as it only costs more mana or maybe I'm reading it wrong.
To PvP it it needed to max kick or would you be able to get the same job done purely on lets say level 1 kick and use the points on another skill or does level 5 make that much of a difference?

Re: LK Guide thread
Might I ask for your thoughts on pain suppression and counter chance?

Re: LK Guide thread
dsamfklsdofksad'pfl. So sorry for those that have been waiting practically a week for a reply xD. I'll reply to everyone now:
@MeganeTsuki
Purely depends on the element on your weapon, and how well you are at dodging enemy attacks. Assuming you don't have any element and are average in PvE handling, you'd need a few higher lvl potions too.
@Natsu
Oh that's nice. Let me know so I canenslave train you .
@Nub
Kick. It reduces the Knockdown counter depending on the level.
Level 1 = -1 KD
Level 2 = -2 KD
So on and so forth.
I wouldn't know about Pain Supression yet, I only had 5 SP to spend and I like me some Sandstorm. I think it could come in really handy though, since Elsword is the character that has the most PvP-useful actives (To my knowledge). And can be chained one after the other, so I guess it gives the skill plenty of time to proc.
Counter Chance, ignore it completely. Raven can afford to get it because everything else is crap. Elsword has better things to spend his SP on.

Re: LK Guide thread
Thanks
Then more question is: what is a good elshard for LK and CN pve?
For CN, imo, fire/poison should work well with Metal dust.
Dark is very good but costly.
Light spoils Metal dust potential since it cannot ba stacked
What is your opinion?

Re: LK Guide thread
I'm not all that sure about CN. I have mine with water/wind to have an Armor Break of sorts xD. And Wind II in PvP because her KD values are too damn high.
As for LK, depends on a few things. If you plan to abuse Assault Slash, petrify is your friend. Dark is universal, anyone can benefit from it, but it's too expensive. Also, Fire is very good with LK, since the higher the ATK, the more damage it deals, and LK has pretty high atk values. Water/Wind (athough I'm using them) won't be all that useful since you have Armor Break. Although slowing down enemies with Water can sometimes help (Spriggan).
No comment about Poison. I just don't like that element for some reason xD.

Re: LK Guide thread
Thank you. I just got confirmed from Euhe that Metal dust does not inflict element then Fire/Poison is not so useful for CN. I just have some Poison shard and try to make use of it XD.
