GA Pure PVE, Non-Cash Guide Empty GA Pure PVE, Non-Cash Guide

This guide is intended for pve but I will note a bit stuff about pvp too, not expect too much though.

Pro
1. The longest range of normal attack in game.
2. Most of x combo are useful and deal a lot of damage.
3. Popular for pve party as GA can help party greatly in a tough situation
4. Only class that can hit 2 targets with normal x attack
5. Have the most and best passive skill for x attack.
6. Also good in pve 2-2 and 3-3
7. The easiest combo in the game. Suitable for those who are lazy to combo or use skills often.
8. Skilled GA has rarely been hit by mobs. Safe Hp potion cost
9. Equipments are very cheap.
10. Very sexy!!

Con
1. No new melee combo
2. No good 200mp skill that can kill mob effectively
3. Can solo but boring.
4. Rely a lot on good bow with Elshard
5. X attack or normal arrow deals less damage than Wind Sneaker
6. Have a hard time to regain mp in single target and 1-1 pvp
7. Most skills are situational and hard to master
8. Most GA will quit playing and start new char as WS.
9. It is a late bloomer class, taking a considerable time before shining.
10. One of the most fragile class in the game.

First of all, typical skill tree for Grand Archer

The selected skills above are quite obvious. I will not go into detail why unless I feel necessary.
However, u are feel free to ask.

The below link is a clip of my solo run at Commercial Very Hard without cash item nor food.
Exceptions are few magic juices at boss fight and magic necklace.
It is not the only way for GA but hope it will help u get more or less ideas about GA.

Tips from my perspective
- If u wanna be pvp type u might consider adding Humming Wind, Guided Arrow, Back Tumbling Shot and Reflect Kick.
- For new player, I strongly suggest to have Enhanced Bowstring/Arrow Master at lv3.
The main reason is: u cannot prolong xx combo at boss without mp potion then u have 3 choices
1. do z combo to gain mp which is mostly got your butt kicked and waste res stone or food
2. standstill to recover mp which is ineffective and being hated by others.
3..eat mp food, costly
The other reason is it will reach the maximum potential when u get all the passive like Vibration Shot, Hawkeye and Gentle Arrow plus element bow enhancement which is about lv 40-44 while u can first max its lv at around lv 30-35. Before that, it is not so useful. Max this skill later on.
- I would recommend magic necklace if u max Enhanced Bowstring/Arrow Master to compensate for deceasing in mp regain.
- Aero Tornado in burst mode is very useful against stoic large boss like Nephilium.
- Dont use Humming Wind against mob, it will disperse them and so annoying to your party mate. This skill is quite hard to avoid in pvp though.
- Crazy Shot is better than Gungnir at small target like Spriggan.
- Rail Sting with noted is your best friend for beginner and at low lv but be aware of KD affect. It also have a very long range, more than screen.
- Pheonix Strike has horizontal infinite range and it can curve so the best use time is at the beginning of map.
- Wind Ward is very useful in hard dungeon. It can gather mop and good to use with Spriggan too.
- U dont have to wait until Wind Ward effect to run off. U can kick or do anything right after activation of this skill. In this way, can get mp back by kicking trapped mob.
- Siege mode is not only good for boss fight but at stoic or hard-to-reach mob.
- To fight those armor effectively, u can do >>xxx-->siege or ^^x up to situation.
- xx xx xx is your best friend.
- For melee, zz siege zz or zz zz but I cannot use neither of them.
- For element of weapon for pve, I find Light III and Wind II/Water are the best choices

Out of curiosity, you got any plans about the entangle?
i feel its sort of sad to leave it out

I do know for a fact, that its not exacly the best skills of doom, but it is usefull in both pvp and pve, i just want to hear your opinions about it.

Other than that i like this

I heard it is very useful in pvp.
For example, against pure melee fighter like Raven and Elboy class or narrow down your opponent position.
It is hard to master but imo it is worthy.
For pve, much more harder to make mob/boss fall to your trap since position of monster is affected not only by you but teammates which generally do not concern with your tricky trap. To make matter worse, most boss can avoid trap by jumping around or use long range attack against you. This is the main reason why most GA prefer Wind Ward even though it costs a lot more mp and less trapping time.by half. Additionally, Wind Ward can trap multiple mob at once making it less situational.
If u really want to make it effective, I think the best way is "teamwork"
Let boss stands in middle between u and party, put trap then let your teammate push boss by combo or anything. I tried to use it with Spriggan and Sullen guy but not worked out well..
